Welcome to the Ultra Beta
Thank you for your interest in trying the beta of Ultra, the next generation synthesizer.
Ultra has been in development for more than five years, and we’re thrilled to finally have it in your hands. We can’t wait to hear your thoughts and feedback.
Why we’re launching a beta
The purpose of this beta release is to give you an early look at Ultra and to gather your input. During the beta phase, there may be bugs and issues that arise on different DAWs, hardware, and operating systems that we haven’t had the chance to test. We’re counting on your feedback to help us identify and resolve these issues, making Ultra even better for the official release.
The beta will run until we’ve resolved these bugs and are confident that Ultra is ready for its public launch.
Who can access the beta?
For now, access is by invitation only. As we progress, you’ll have the opportunity to invite friends to join as well.
How to contact us
We’ve set up a Discord server for the Ultra community. You can use it to chat with us, share your thoughts, make feature requests, and report bugs.
Reporting bugs
If Ultra crashes or behaves unexpectedly, please email us any crash logs or error messages at beta@ultra.audio. Include a brief description of what you were doing when the issue occurred.
For non-crash issues or anything that feels off, let us know via the same email address or post it in the Discord server.
Sharing feedback
We’d love to hear your ideas on how we can make Ultra even better. Feel free to share your suggestions in the Discord server or email us at beta@ultra.audio.
Cloud backup
Your patches and sounds in Ultra are automatically backed up to the cloud. This means you can seamlessly access them from any machine you sign in to. Think of it as having your own personal sound library that’s always with you—similar to Dropbox or Google Drive.
Your online Library and Store
In addition to the patches you create and our factory library, Ultra has an online library of user-generated patches which will grow over time. Every user has a balance of credits that can be used to download patches.
If you’re a patch creator, you can publish your sounds in the store. To do so, create a Pack with at least 10 patches and click the “Publish Pack” button from the pack detail page. If enough people download your patches, you’ll earn money for each download—a percentage of what users spend on credits.
After the beta ends
The app will launch and be available to purchase. As a thank you for your help, we will give you a license to use the release version of synth for free for several months. After that, you will be able to guy the Synth with a steep discount.
Any sounds you've downloaded will be yours to keep.
Any sounds you've uploaded and chosen to publish will be live in the store. The'll become eligible to earn income when people download them.
