You are required to keep up with the monthly payments to retain access during your rental term. But it’s different from a subscription because at the end of your rental term you will be issued a perpetual license, with no further payments required.

Yes, you can pause or cancel your Rent to Own payment plan at any time.

Pausing will skip one or more payments, extending the length of your rental term. When pausing you will lose access to Ultra at the end of your current billing period. Access is restored when your plan is resumed.

If you cancel your Rent to Own payment plan you will lose access to Ultra at the end of your current billing period. You will not be issued a perpetual license.

Yes, you can pay off early by upgrading from Rent to Own to One Time Purchase at any time during your rental term. Your One Time Purchase price will be discounted by the value of all rental payments you have made.

The free trial of Ultra allows up to 20 minutes of session time, but not to save your work. Please purchase a license to unlock all functionality when you’re ready.

You can install Ultra on an unlimited number of devices. However, only one device can be signed in at a time.

Your library is synced to Ultra in the cloud so you can access it from any device you sign in to.

You will need to sign in the first time you use Ultra, which will require you to be online.

After that, you can use Ultra offline. While offline your library will not be able to sync with the cloud, and you won't be able to access the Ultra Store.

Ultra runs on Windows 10, Windows 11, or macOS 10.14 Mojave and above. (We don’t have a Linux version yet, but let us know if this is something you would like to see.)

Ultra is compatible with DAWs that support the VST3 or AU plugin formats. It can also be launched as a standalone app.
