Edit Attack

The Edit Attack page lets you make fine adjustments to the sound's Attack sample.
- Attack graph shows the sample data for the attack. You can drag to select a range and use the functions in the sidebar to alter the attack.
- Zoom buttons allow you to zoom in horizontally or vertically to the garph
- Trim knob controls the default volume of the attack compared to the wavetable body of the sound. When importing, an attack might be a lot quieter than the body. The trim is set automatically to compensate for this. Most of the time the trim should be left alone.

Patch Parameters
These parameters are not part of the UltraWave sound, but they affect the playback of the attack and can be controlled from the edit page.
- Series mode the wavetable body plays when the attack sample playback has finished.
- Parallel mode the attack sample and the wavetable body both start at the same time.
- Key Follow the attack sample will be pitch shifted based on the MIDI note played.
- Pitch offset this knob allows you to make the attack sample playback higher or lower pitch than the sound root note.
- Volume controls the playback volume of all attack samples in the UltraWave map
Attack edit functions
- Delete Attack removes this sample from the sound.
- Select All Audio select all samples in the graph.
- Copy Audio copies the selection to clipboard.
- Paste Audio inserts the clipboard audio into the attack sample at the cursor position.

- Gain - 3Db reduces the volume of the selection by 3Db. The sample is normalised, so If the range contains the loudest portion of the sample, this has the effect of increasing the volume of the non-selected areas by 3Db.
- Normalize adjusts the volume of the selected range so that at least one sample is at maximum volume.
- Invert flips the phase of the selection.
- Trim Quiet Start removes very quiet noise from the start of the sample, by removing anything that is less than -50 db and performing a short fade in.
- Reverse flips the sample in the horizontal axis.
