Overview

The Synth tab is the main page for editing the currently loaded Patch.
Oscillator Section

This section controls the Oscillators - the main sound generating feature of Ultra.
There are up to 5 Oscs active in a Patch.
The tabs at the top let you switch between the 5 oscs. Click the little lights to enable each Osc.
The first 3 Oscs can be switched to different Osc types by clicking the small arrow to the right of the tab. You can choose from:
UltraWave, Analog, Super or Sampler.
The last 2 tabs are the Noise and Sub oscs.
Clicking the Routing tab lets you configure the signal flow from the Oscs to the filters and effects.
Filter Section

Audio from the oscillators is passed to the Voice Filter section.
Mixer Section

The mixer controls the volume and pan of the various Oscillators.
Clicking the name of the Osc will switch it on and off.
Mod Sources Section

This section shows various Modulation Sources. Click and drag them to a control to program the synth.
LFO Section

The Low Frequency Oscillators let you automate parameters of the patch and create movement.
Envelopes

Envelopes are used to control the volume of the Patch over time. They can also be attached to other parameters.
Macros

The 4 macro knobs can be used as modulation sources to control other parameters.
Effects Section

The effects rack can be used to add character to your sound.
Monitor and Output

The bottom right of the synth contains a monitor and output section for controlling the volume and voicing options in your patch.
