Library

The Library contains all of the Sounds / Patches available to you within the Ultra synth. Enter the Library by clicking the 'Sounds' tab or the Patch name at the top of Ultra

Online Backup

  • Patches are synced to the cloud whenever you create them.
  • This creates an online backup of all of your work.
  • If you sign in to Ultra on another computer, your sound library will download and sync to that computer.
  • You can filter the list of Patches by clicking the buttons in the left hand column.
  • Enter text in the search box to filter by a tag or patch name.
  • Clicking 'Store' will take you to the store where you can buy new Sound Packs for Ultra.

Patch List View

  • The default view shows a list of the Ultra Patches on your computer.
  • Click the 'Patches' button to enter patch list view.
  • Clicking a Patch will load the patch.
  • It will also play an audio preview of the patch. You can disable audio previews by clicking the speaker icon in the list heading.
  • Every patch has one category. Clicking the category button will filter the patch list and show only patches that also have that category.
  • Every patch is created by an Artist. Click on the artist name to see their profile page. You will be able to see all of the Patches created by the artist.
  • Clicking the heart icon will 'like' the patch. use this feature to mark your favourite patches. You can then filter the patch list to show only liked patches.
  • At the top of the patch list are column headings. You can click these to sort the patch list.
  • A the top right is a shuffle button, which will enable a random sorting.

Pack Grid View

  • Click the 'Packs' button to enter pack view.
  • A pack is a collection of patches.
  • Click the Artist image to take you to their Artist page.
  • Hovering on the Pack shows you a play button, which will let you hear the demo audio for the pack.
  • Clicking on the name or anywhere else on the pack will take you to the Pack detail view.

Pack Detail

  • Clicking on a Pack takes you to the Pack Detail view.
  • This page shows you a list of Patches in the pack and additional text info.
  • Clicking any of the tags under the image will run a search within the library for other items tagged with that text.
  • If you don't own the pack, you can buy it from this view.
  • If you created the pack, you will have various buttons which allow you to edit the text, image and audio demo.
  • Click the X to exit the pack detail view.
